Chef Kirti Kamal grew up in sunny Durban and started to bake and cook from an early age. Her passion for patisserie was realised from an early age, when family and friends would request her gorgeous tarts and cakes.

She then attended The Christina Martin School of Food and Wine in 2009 and received a Diploma in Culinary arts and French Patisserie. Kirti also has a City & Guilds of London Diploma in both French Patisserie and Culinary arts.

She is very passionate and uses only the best, local ingredients. She is a member of the slow food movement , The South African Chefs association and strives to support and improve the quality of products and produce in South Africa.
